BizTalk EDI Document Tracker

The BizTalk EDI Document Tracker allows you to see the status of each transaction set by a unique identifer, for example the Purchase Order Number in the X12 850 or EDIFACT ORDERS or the Invoice Number in the X12 810 or EDIFACT INVOIC.

3 Included Tracking Views

Included are 3 views to track all inbound documents, outbound documents, and outbound doucments with their corresponding X12 997 or EDIFACT CONTROL acknowledgment.

Track by PO Number, Invoice Number, or any unique identifier within the Transaction Set

We are looking at a sample of Outbound view showing us all the details about our outbound transactions.  You can see the UniqueIdentifier1 is the Invoice number in our X12 810.  Also included is the entire X12 or EDIFACT Interchange as originally sent out from BizTalk.



Track unacknowledged Transaction Sets by unique identifier

If we want to see which of our invoices have received a corresponding X12 997 we simply look at the outbound auditing view.  You can see that the OUT_ X12 810 transactions have a corresponding IN_ X12 997 transaction.  If a 997 has not been received by the trading partner, it will show up as NULL. The functionality is exactly the same for EDIFACT



Resubmit transaction sets to trading partner or through BizTalk

If you need to resubmit an interchange either to your trading partner or again through BizTalk, simply highlight the interchange(s), copy them to a text file and resubmit the file.



Track multiple unique identifiers

The BizTalk EDI Document Tracker allows you to track up to 5 unique identifiers per transaction set.  You may also track unique identifiers by segment name or segment/qualifer combination. For example, you can view all ST qualified N1_04s (Ship-to Locations).



Included exception report email

The BizTalk EDI Document Tracker allows you to automate exception report emails so you can communicate to all your trading parters any unacknowledged transaction sets by unique identifier and Interchange Control Number.
